Therapeutic Coaching Working Agreement

These Terms and Conditions establish the agreement between us:

1. The Service/Process.

1.1. I combine my roles as a Coach and Psychotherapist. Therapeutic Coaching is tailored to each
client’s unique experiences and needs. We agree to take a shared responsibility in our work
together.

1.2. The process includes an initial assessment, gathering relevant information, developing an
alliance, assessing safety, crisis management (if required), agreeing on initial intentions,
therapy / coaching, teaching new skills, re-visiting and fine-tuning the goals, and then moving
towards ending or a maintenance plan.

1.3. I specialise in working with neurodivergent. clients, and implement trauma-informed, and
gender-affirming practices designed to create a secure and supportive environment. This
approach honors diverse perspectives and fosters empowerment, intention-led action, healing,
and recovery.

1.4. We will hold in mind your individual neurotype, so we can work in line with your strengths and
accommodate the challenges. We will focus on empowerment, helping you gain awareness,
increase psychological flexibility, and help you to make practical changes, in order to live a safe,
meaningful, and fulfilling life.

2. Responsibilities

2.1. The Therapeutic Coach commits to providing services with reasonable care and skill, adhering
to industry standards, practices, and ethical codes of conduct.

2.2. The Therapeutic Coach will continue their professional development, mentoring, up-to-date
training and personal therapeutic support, in order to keep striving to better serve the client.

2.3. The Therapeutic Coach will maintain the session time boundary.

2.4. Both the Therapeutic Coach and the client share responsibility for the process and desired
outcomes.

2.5. Both parties agree to communicate clearly, honestly, respectfully, and compassionately.

2.6. Both parties agree not to attend sessions under the influence of alcohol or illegal drugs or
present in any other way that would undermine our professional relationship.

2.7. The client agrees to adhere to the payment process.

3. Sessions & Charges.

3.1. If the client needs to cancel or reschedule a session, 48 hours’ notice is required to avoid still
being charged for the session.

3.2. The Therapeutic Coach and client will discuss an initial treatment timeline or agree on an open-
ended arrangement with regular check-ins. Either party can terminate the sessions with a minimum of 48 hours’ notice.

3.3. The Therapeutic Coach aims to provide a satisfactory conclusion for the client. For some
clients, ad hoc maintenance sessions may become part of their ongoing life management.

3.4. Standard session length is 55 minutes. The initial discovery session is offered at half the fee,
£37, payable upon booking. Subsequent full sessions are £65 each. Payment is initially requested
via an emailed booking link. After the first full payment, the client’s card details will be stored
securely, and payment for future sessions will be automatically processed on the day of each
session.

3.5. The service is most effective if the client commits to a minimum of 12 sessions, conducted
weekly or fortnightly.

4. Confidentiality, Data & Communications:

4.1. The client acknowledges that to benefit from the services, they will need to disclose personal
data and confidential information, including GP details. All sessions are confidential, with certain
exceptions: if there is an immediate risk of serious harm to the client or others, or in very rare
cases, if a Court orders the disclosure of information. Your GP will not be contacted without your
prior consent, apart from in the case of an extreme and unmanageable risk to your life.

4.2. Both the client and the Therapeutic Coach agree to create a safe, confidential environment for
their sessions.

4.3. Personal data will only be processed to the extent necessary for delivering the services. The
Therapeutic Coach will retain personal data only for the duration necessary to complete and deliver
the services and for two years thereafter. The sessions are not recorded. Personal data refers to
notes and personal details.

By the client making an initial payment for a session, the client and the Therapeutic Coach both confirm their agreement to these terms and conditions.
